Join Padre Paul Funfsinn in an engaging exploration with Rev. Janet Lee Kraft on her educational program “Leaving Lightly”, a thoughtful end-of-life planning program guiding people through creating a lasting legacy of compassion for the loved ones you leave behind.

There are three reasons to get your affairs in order: (1) so you can have the last word as to what happens to you, (2) to save hundreds, thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars at the end of life and (3) so you can be loving, kind and compassionate to the ones you love the most at a time when it means the most. The last reason is what makes end-of-life preparation a sacred service.

Someone will have to bring a conclusion to your life once you drop the physical body. This person will have to deal with your finances, handle your post-mortem care, contact friends and family, deal with the bank, the IRS, Social Security and a myriad of other details that comprise your active, vibrant life. Without information from you, that person will suffer as they try to figure out passwords, where you bank, if you have a Will. They will have to be a detective at a time when they only want to be a mourner.

You have the power to make their life easier. If you give them what they need in advance they can be a mourner rather than a detective. With advanced preparation on your part, they can bypass “avoidable trauma.” You can make your legacy one of love, compassion, kindness, thoughtfulness, helpfulness. This is sacred service.

Meet Our Presenters and Prayer Team

Reverend Janet Lee Kraft, M.A., Ed.

Janet Lee Kraft, M.A., Ed. earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Education degrees from Antioch University Seattle before earning her interfaith ministerial ordination from The New Seminary in New York City, New York in 2004.

For more than 20 years, Jan used her education and love of teaching to become a popular inspirational and motivational speaker in churches, senior centers, social clubs and businesses. But in 2015 it was her active funeral ministry – along with the passing of numerous family and friends – that led her to create an end-of-life educational program that she called, “Leaving Lightly: Getting Your Affairs in Order So All You Leave Behind is Love.” She teaches this course as an adjunct faculty member in the Act 2 department at Spokane Community College in Spokane, Washington.

Jan and her husband David currently reside in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

For over 40 years, Padre Paul has been a Spiritual Leader of Celebrating Life Ministries and continues the Healing Ministry legacy of Rev Ron Roth. Paul has a prophetic gift of reading people’s hearts from his relationship with the Holy Spirit as well as welcoming people into God’s Holy Presence. Leading prayer & healing services, as well as private spiritual consultation, is his strength where heaven and earth meet up!

Padre Paul was a mentor under international healer Rev Ron Roth, for 28 years until his passing. Paul now assumes the role of Spiritual Shepherd of this loving community and his mission is to “heal the sick” and “set people free” from oppression and negative energies.
