Ron’s Early Years, Prior to CLM

Ron Roth, one of the founders of CLM, was a Catholic priest for 25 years in the first part of his life. As it is within the lives of mystics, and their biographies, they get shaped by many forces to help them learn and grow into evolved beings. Ron’s spiritual journey had many twists and turns. Born in 1937, Ron grew up with an alcoholic father and was an only child. Ron’s father wanted a different life for Ron other than the priesthood, yet Ron entered the seminary anyway and would leave the world as a powerful contemporary healer and teacher rather than a priest. Once Ron received his religious training, the father-son relationship became further strained.

After Ron studied to become a priest in the early 1960s, he started serving in a parish in 1966. In his first assignment, he served under an alcoholic priest which had a challenging impact on him. Ron in some ways was destined to become what he disliked most in his father as he succumbed to alcoholism himself during this brief stint of service. For this brief time, Ron’s judgement and discernment were impaired and he had to learn to not bury his pain and shame through defeatist behaviors and addiction.

In 1968, during this deeply grievous time, Ron acted out and thus began to experience in full his Dark Night of the Soul. It was a transitional time for him which led to a Spirit directed inner life review, a time of reform which pushed Ron head-on to face his addictions and demons. All the issues and rebellion that dominated his early life had to be consciously reconciled. Once Ron started dealing with his problems, he experienced momentous change, and a new path opened to move him forward.

In 1974, Ron sought help from a fellow priest where he received a true and lasting convergence experience through a spiritual intervention as the priest prayed over him. Ron received an authentic baptism of the Holy Spirit, which turned his life from chaotic, to hallowed out. This powerful interventional call on Ron’s life changed him and the direction of his life. Ron’s consciousness began to shift, and he sought out those whom he had offended/sinned and set right with each person, including himself. Ron started therapy to deal with the wrongful and hurtful ways that his life had affected and caused pain and confusion. In 1977, Ron found redemption with his father, and on his deathbed, father and son were reconciled and set free. Ron continued on a path of higher consciousness and transformation.

Ron’s Healing Mission Takes Shape

The powerful principle that self acceptance and forgiveness sets people free, became a living experience for Ron. The inner and outer acts of transformation and redemption that Ron experienced, gave him a second chance at life. Others were healed alongside Ron, which galvanized him to study the scripture with new eyes and a renewed heart. In 1976, Ron became the Director of The House Of Prayer, In Urbana, IL which led to him being invited to prayer groups and host healing services, as The Holy Spirit filled Ron to put him on a true path as a healing presence. The central teaching of Christ through the Holy Spirit is one that Ron learned to embody in his life and priesthood, and then people who attended his healing services experienced healing through these same Graces.

These experiences highlight the inner work Ron and the Holy Spirit did in his life, which then helped to create miracles in the lives of the people who had long suffered from pain and loss. The Healing gifts of the Spirit began to manifest during Ron’s Healing services in greater ways.

In 1991, Ron Roth encountered another Dark Night of the Soul experience which led him to ultimately step away from being a catholic priest and called him into an unknown world for him of spiritual practices and devotions. In 1993, Ron requested to leave the priesthood, giving him the freedom to fully embrace the supernatural calling on his life as a transformed being and spiritual healer. Ron was primed by the Holy Spirit to illuminate the sacred principles locked within these new experiences and share them with the world.

PADRE RON & PAUL FUNFSINN FORM AN INTERFAITH HEALING MINISTRY

The Birth of Celebrating Life Ministries

In 1993, as Ron transitioned into his new role from Father Ron Roth to Padre Ron, he was ready to share Holy Spirit consciousness with the world. He invited his dear friend and colleague Paul Funfsinn to work alongside him, and together they formed a new Spiritual Community named “Celebrating Life Ministries.” During this new phase for Ron, he became well known by many Spiritual Teachers in new thought communities and was esteemed as a powerful and prolific teacher, author, healer, mystic, and Avatar.

While the Catholic Church gave Ron his start and helped him to see the dark pain of un-forgiveness and un-acceptance, it was through Grace of true friendships and by and large the Holy Spirit, that gave Ron his healing ministry which ultimately flourished to bring a powerful and impactful mission through Padre Ron to life. In this role, Padre Ron was to serve the masses.

At the end of his life, Ron Roth experienced awakening as an Avatar of Causeless love and was to be known henceforth as Sri Ronji which is his legacy. He passed away on June 1, 2009.
